Deborah Nicholson has over thirty years of experience in developing human readiness. She served in leadership positions in military, public and private organizations at the policy, administrative and implementation level. She is an active volunteer in community organizations that address the issues of systemic injustice and inequity and improving the quality of life for children, families and their communities. She has served on the boards of the Christian Council of Metropolitan Atlanta, the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust, Georgia Legislative Black Caucus Advisory Board, and was a founding board member for the Atlanta Anti-Prejudice Consortium and the CommUnity Institute.
Additionally, Ms. Nicholson established People-to-People Enterprises, and shortly thereafter developed the SELF-Genesis: Connecting the Power Within Leadership Development series. SELF-Genesis engages a systemic thinking view of human interaction to identify and address the chronic underlying issues of people relating to people and its effect on individual, group, team, organizational and community readiness, performance, productivity and effectiveness. She is the author of the powerful book, SELF-Genesis: Connecting the Power Within- A Developmental Framework for Change.
